UPDATE

We left for the hospital at 4:45am

We arrived and all crammed into the elevator. Some are hiding from the camera in the elevator!

The kids did some activities in the waiting room.

My kids got to watch cartoons. That only happens when a baby is being born and they are in the waiting room where the tv is available. Otherwise, they never see cartoons.

Princess slept.

Then we all went home and will wait patiently for his birth day! Maybe tomorrow....

Funny: she had the same nurse that was present when Precious was born. I was not in the room but they told me that they were talking to her and she said "just don't have your baby standing over the toilet like my last patient did." Sarah said "yeah, that was my SIL!" Then she remembered Sarah. What an impression of birth we made for her!

I love it!

We love it! I cannot imagine it any differently. The hospital is great about all of us being in the waiting room or all of us being in the room for the birth! For one birth, they actually gave us our own waiting room. That was great!

Now if I could just get my own sister to drive 3hrs for one of my births! (hint hint!)

That's great!! I know here they have signs posted about only allowing 1-2 support people with the laboring mother. The rest have to stay in the waiting room... What special memories for your children. Makes having a baby such a joyous time!! :)

She looks radiant in the elevator picture! It is nice that the hospital makes allowances for everyone to be part of the experience!
