TEA PARTY

Today while Peacock and HooDoo were at art lesson with Grammy and Smiley was napping Little Mama and I had a tea party! It started out with me folding laundry and Little Mama pretending to have baked a cake and brought me a piece. Then another piece. Then she washed her dishes. Then I decided to have a real tea party! I had just baked a No Crust Apple Pie which would be perfect.

When the boys and Grammy returned they joined us for a piece of pie and Cinderella tea. Later in the afternoon Grandma stopped by and was surprised with a piece of pie and part of a tea party as well. Little Mama was a wonderful server and thoroughly enjoyed the whole setting. The boys well are boys and need some tea party etiquette lessons!

I will post the recipe next or tomorrow most likely! It is really easy and delicious. The only down part was I was excited about having the house smell delicious from the apple pie and instead it stunk. The pie pan was not big enough and it overflowed while baking and burning on the bottom of the stove. Thankfully the smoke alarm did not go off which is my normal dinner is ready signal! Who needs a dinner bell when you have a smoke alarm! :)
