We had a treasure hunt today. I was planning on having the boys actually dig for their treasure but it rained this morning. We love the rain and probably would of dug in the rain anyway, but decided to keep it indoors.
I wrote out several small sentences that Peacock could read. Where do you put your shoes? Where do you go for food? Where do you take a bath? The last clue led them to the microwave where I hid some spiderman notepads and pencils! It was a good reading skill practice and a fun game. Thanks Kim C. for giving me the idea!
Later they headed out to run in the rain....

Great idea...such a fun way to reinforce reading skills! And a great game for a rainy day. :) This one's getting filed away for later. :)
