SPRING

Though I have no plan on doing the Monday book review as faithful as Laura or Elise, I do like to share my book reviews every once in a while. They have a talent for writing and well I only wish I did!

SPRING AN ALPHABET ACROSTIC
By Steven Schnur
Illustrated by Leslie Evans

Describes something of spring all the way through the alphabet. The first letter of each line spells out what it was.

After days of
Pouring
Rain, the last
Ice and snow finally
Leave the earth.

Green leaves overhead, a
Rug of green underfoot,
And the air between
Sweet with the green
Smell of spring.

In the nursery a
New baby sleeps while
Family
And
Neighbors gather
To celebrate.

Thanks so much for sharing and for thinking I write well, but guess what? You do too! I so enjoy reading your posts!
