ANOTHER SEWING PROJECT

Sarah and I got together and I made wool cover. I bought a 100% wool sweater from the thrift store for $1.99. Sarah took a 70's pattern from Mom and tweaked for a wool cover. It worked excellently for her. The first day together I cut it out... the children all played fairly well. Garrett cried towards the end. The next day I sewed. This time Garrett slept and Smiley cried the whole time, well almost but it sure seemed like the whole time. The other kids played fairly well. I lanolized it and it took forever to dry. I should of taken the advice and rolled it in a towel to get most of the water out. He wore it last night and I am pleased with it. My only problem... how to stop all the fuzz from sticking to his body in the morning???? Any advice on that? Overall, this project boosted my sewing confidence.

Now thats an area I'm not sure I would be any good at. Looks comfy though!

Great Job!

I'm glad it worked!!:) I don't know about the fuzz.. mine didn't do that. Maybe after awhile it won't do it as much?

Awesome! That's the kind of creativity that I just LOVE! :) You get a great wool diaper cover for a inexpensive price...they are so expensive, aren't they?
