WONDERFUL IDEAS

For some time I had been thinking of putting family and friends pictures in an index card box and keeping out on the table for us to pick one out to pray for at meal times.

Then I came across Kendra who has a wonderful resourceful, encouraging site and blog where she described her card box.

To start ours, I found some letter stickers for 75 cents at Hancocks. I wrote out the ABC Bible Verses from Susan's Hunt's book -- excellent book if you do not have it! Joshua knows the verses from this book but Caleb could use more work getting it down correctly. I added Ps 25:4 "Show me thy ways, O Lord, teach me thy paths" which is the Bible verse from our Bible class. The Bible class also started catechism question 1-3 so there is an index card for that!



So how do you like our new centerpiece? I look forward to adding other things. I bought a second index card box to put family/friends in for us to pray for.




On a different note, this was in the sky tonight. "X marks the spot" Wish it was the x marks the spot for Christ's return!
