FIRST BIRTHDAY

Today is Smiley's first birthday! Actually this time last year I was lying on the couch and labor started. I should say the back PAIN started! That is another whole posting. I learned many lessons from that labor!!!

On Saturday we celebrated his birthday with family. He enjoyed the cake! His brothers and sister enjoyed his gifts!!! Garrett, Uncle Derek and Aunt Sarah played a trio on the piano. I had a really cute picture of Garrett standing with his arms stretched up to the piano looking at his Daddy when HooDoo stepped in my frame as soon as I clicked the picture. Taking pictures with moving children is a hard task. I need a lot of practice in that area!

Happy Birthday Smiley! You truly do brighten our life with your smiles! We love you!

ANNNIVERSARY TO REMEMBER

Monday would of been my parent's 40th Anniversary! Their life verse was Psalm 37:4
Delight thyself also in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Thank you for allowing God to lead you and our family. Your surrender to his will led us through a path less taken. In times of many and times of few you never took your eyes off the Lord! May we continue to "build thousands upon thousands of memories" as you like to say. We love you!

MOM AND DAD

Today is Mom and Dad's 30something Anniversary! Thank you for making Christ the center of your marriage and family. Your marriage is an example and a rock to which we can learn and stand on. We love you and count our blessings.

Note: If I was organizaed and not a procrastinator I would know exactly where a better picture of them was. [picture of when peacock was a baby] Plus, I need to keep pen and paper by my bed. I come up with great stuff while I am trying to fall asleep... or at least at 11:44pm it seems like good stuff!
