39 WEEKS...

... AND COUNTING....

I am feeling great. No complaints at all. Except that I am getting more impatient to have our baby and see if we have a boy or a girl!!!!! Except that two of the MOMYS due right before and after me are now holding their precious little girls!!!!
I APPRECIATE all of your prayers for our upcoming birth.... REALLY APPRECIATE!!!!

We finished our first half of school this week. I had planned to have completed 18wks by my due date so we can take a break for the birth, adjustment, and start back up sometime in January when I feel capable of handling newborn and school! The boys are excited about the break. Plus Daniel will be taking time off from work when the baby is born.

Oh yeah, I am glad about this. I go to a doctor group that has 2 doctors. Come to find out on weekends the doctors from the other group at the hospital on call for them. Knowing one doctor from that other group and his idea of birth, I asked my doctor for a copy of their on call for the month. He gave it to me, so when I go into labor I can look at my chart and know which doctor I will be facing. It is basically the two doctors from my group, but this weekend is the uh-oh doctor and the last weekend of the month is the okay doctor from the other group.

Something cute, I decided to put a table cloth on our table the other night. Well Smiley was in the kitchen with me when I did it. I put it on and then our nativity with some candles. He walked over to the table and said "Pretty!" I was shocked and told him "Thank you!" My goodness, my 20 months old little boy actually complimented on the pretty table. He surprises me every day with his new words and personality! He truly does not realize his age... he thinks he is 3, 5, and 6 years old! As a side note, I now remember why I do not use a table cloth. I have already used up two table cloths in two meals! But like I told Peacock, with a table cloth you don't have to wipe the table. He was thankful for that! Any suggestions on how to make a table cloth last longer? Without moving it from the baby section while eating. Or just buy a lot of $1 material and make lots of table cloths (3 per day?)

I'm so glad you are doing well! That baby will be here before youknow it, then you will be celebrating its 1st birthday and wondering where all the time went. LOL

My suggestion is to go to Walmart and buy some of their tablecloth plastic. It comes in big table cloth sized rolls. Lay that over your table cloth and just wipe it down.

You can get it in rolls? I bought a folded-up clear plastic cover and it works great except for all the fold wrinkles. The plastic is kind of thin too.

You are getting SO close!! You'll be in our prayers over the next week, or 2 or 3, though I hope you won't have to wait that long!

I'd been wondering how you were doing. Thanks for the update! Blondie thinks she is 5, 6 also...so funny!

If you go to the fabric section of Wal-Mart, they should have tablecloth fabric, as well as clear plastic in different thicknesses that you can purchase by the yard. They are on big roles all together, you just tell the clerk how many yards you need and she'll cut it off for you. Great stuff! And no wrinkles!

You'll be in my prayers-especially that you don't get the "uh-oh doctor." :-)

p.s. congrats on finishing up half of the kid's schooling-I'm so impressed you could continue teaching while 39 weeks pregnant! :-)

How nice to have the first half of school done! I know for me, I was so glad to have the canning done before baby was born! :)

I use a table cloth all the time too. I also use place mats, it helps keep the table cloth nice and I just change the place mats. That said I still have to change the table cloth 3 or more times a week.

I'm praying for you and your up coming labor, unless you have had baby by now. :)

Praying here and look forward to hearing your baby news!!

i'm amazed too, that you're hanging in there with the schooling! i quit that last month. i was more useless the last month of pregnancy than i was the first month postpartum!

keep hangin' in there!
