FAMILAR SONG... NEW VERSES

Last night we lied in bed singing songs... mainly Christmas songs "Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem, Joy To The World" etc. Not sure how we got to the song "Bringing in the Sheaves" but we did. I put new verses to the song and Peacock thought this verse was especially funny.
"Going to potty, going to potty;
We will not mess in our pants." (2x)

Truth be known, HooDoo well has "accidents" quite often! In fact, the other day when he actually did go to the potty he said "Mommy, are you happy for me? I went to the bathroom!" To which I did dance around the bathroom and hugged him in my excitement! Little Mama is doing well with going to the bathroom. The excitement of the newness is gone and she has become afraid of the air wick freshner sprayer that has a green light on it! She will not go in the bathroom if it is in there! Go figure! I have to sneak it out and show her it is gone and THEN she will go! She has her first set of "big girl" undies which she loves.

So this is my new song... adding different verses Washing the dishes or Folding the laundry or Playing together; we will do it happily.

Love your new verses!
And how funny about Little Mama being afraid of the air freshner. :-)

You know, Elijah has a problem with the wind blowing on (through) the bathroom window. He can hear it as he is sitting in the bathroom and very quickly says, "I'M DONE"

My Grandpa died when I was 4 years old. He died in the basement of their house. After that time, I was afraid to use their bathroom. It has a floor vent and I thought a ghost would fly though the vent and grab me! I would either sit on their couch and hold it very tightly, or someone would have to go in the bathroom with me. Even then I was still really scared!

Funny how kids are!
