THANKSGIVING DAY

"It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:
To show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands...
O LOrd, how great are thy works! And thy thoughts are very deep." Psalm 92:1,2,& 4, 5

Today was a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, food, and fun. We wrote out our Thankful list. This year Peacock said he was thankful for trees and birds. HooDoo said he was thankful for the land and the sky. Peacock then added that he was thankful for Ian visitng to which HooDoo agreed! Little Mama said she was thankful for dolls. We ate delicious food at noon, played and talked and then walked around the back property (50 acres) as a whole family. We made it back to Mom and Dad's in time for more delicious food! All 8 children (5 and under) had a great time playing and running around together!

We are enjoying the wonderful visit with David, Leigh, Ian and James. Very thankful for these two weeks together as a whole family! It has not been the same since they moved out of state. The boys are truly making up for lost time with lots of light saber fighting, dinosaur puzzle, running around, spend the nights with Grammy and Gramps, park/picnic, wrestling, tracking for deer prints in the woods, and more light saber fighting!

I wish I had more pictures from Thanksgiving Day, but I only had a few pictures left. I liked the silouhette of Peacock, Ian and Little Mama in the window watching Uncle David and Uncle Derek have a big boy light saber fight outside! Plus, the boys picked out flowers and we brought over my cornacopia for a table centerpiece. Mom did a beautiful job arranging them in the cornacopia. I love a pretty table setting!

and I am very thankful for Derek who just handed me a Mountain Dew....
