When I was born my Mom wrote me a song. I love my special song. I feel sorry for my siblings because they do not have one. But then they have a baby journal and pictures -- I do not!
When pregnant with Peacock I came up with a song. I ended up using it for Little Mama and gave Peacock another song.
Here are the words -- nothing fancy just simple songs they each love to hear!
Peacock
"I love [insert his name] and [insert his name] loves me,
he's as sweet as sweet can be;
as a baby boy he came
as a gift of love.
He is the one I gave birth to on July 7th and he weighed 9lbs;
He is the one I read to, one I play with each and everyday.
I love -- and -- loves me,
He's as sweet as sweet can be;
as a baby boy he came
as a gift of love."
HooDoo
God loves you [insert his name]with all of his heart,
God loves you [insert his name]with all of his heart,
He created you with the strength of his hand,
He has a very special plan.
Daddy loves you [insert his name] with all of his heart,
Daddy loves you [insert his name] with all of his heart,
You are our child a gift from the Lord,
He'll be an example in all that he does.
Mommy loves you [insert his name] with all of her heart,
Mommy loves you [insert his name] with all of her heart,
she gave birth to you on Oct 22nd,
you weighed 9lbs and 1oZ.
[Insert older brother's name] loves you [insert his name]with all of his heart,
[Insert older brother's name] loves you [insert his name]with all of his heart,
He'll always will be your big brother,
you'll be best friends whether play or fighting.
We love you [insert his name]with all of our heart,
We love you [insert his name]with all of our heart,
you brightened our world with your most precious life,
We love you [insert his name] with all of our heart.
Little Mama
"On a bright summers day the Lord gave us a child,
So we could love and cherish all of our days;
We give thanks to the Lord for [insert her name],
For she was created by the strength in his hands."
Smiley-- still working on it. I had a really cute tune right before he was born but forgot it!

They'll treasure their songs always. :-) We have a song for Ella too-set to the tune of Beverly Hillbillies-it's quite the silly song-you can find it on one of the first entries of siblog.
