We went to the library today and had our summer reading books checked. The boys were given a free chick-fil-a kids meal. We went there for lunch. Come to find out on July 14th -- tomorrow of course-- is cow appreciation or comstumer appreciation. If you dress up like a cow you get a FREE COMBO, if you dress partly like a cow you get a FREE ENTREE! Wish I had known, we would of saved our trip until tomorrow. The boys would of had fun dressing up like cows! Wonder if we can squeeze an extra trip to town for this fun day! hmmmmm....
Thought I would check the offical website to see if it is advertised there. I guess since it is individually franchised out then it might not be a national free combo dress like a cow day! While at the site I did find out that they have a "If You Give A Kid A Book" Reading Challenge for children ages 10 and under. The contest is from Aug 1 to Nov 14 You sign up here
or at the local Chick-fil-A. The child who read most books wins the grand prize! Pretty good deal.
