2 Cor. 9:7

"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give, not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."

Peacock was given money for his birthday. At first he said he was going to save his money. Well his cousin stopped by for a short visit with his new lightsaber that he got for his birthday. Peacock and HooDoo both thought it was the coolest thing ever! He said he wanted to buy him and HooDoo a lightsaber so they could fight with Ian. I told him that would be very generous of him to use him birthday money to buy something for Caleb! This morning I told him we would go to Wal-Mart and let him shop with his money. Right before we left he came to me and said "since Little Mama likes to play the piano, then I want to get her something to make music with from the girl aisle." Too generous! Here is a 5 year old using his own birthday money and thinking of others!

We went to the store -- duh me was looking in the Superman section of the toy aisle for lightsabers -- hello it is Star Wars! I eventually realized it was Star Wars and we found a whole box of lightsabers. They each picked their own color! Then we found a recorder (you know you blow and lift your fingers to make music) and he asked Little Mama if she liked it. She shook her head yes! Very sweet to watch and listen to him shop for others.
