Peacock -- two things of importance
1. Prayer -- his first true sincere prayer!
"Dear Jesus, Thank you for this beautiful day. Thank you for [family members]. Thank you that I can be homeschooled and Mommy makes it fun. Please give Grammy a safe flight to -- and let her have a fun visit with Ian and James. Help Gramps not to be lonely. And thank you for your love. Amen."
2. He can read: here, is, the, a, my, Mother; it, sit, hit; in, sin, win, tin; hen, ten
HooDoo --
sings constantly starting with "holy holy holy merciful and mighty; my soul shall rise to me" then straight into "oh man Noah heard God's voice, build an ark of wood; the people laughed at noah's ark but he just worked away with, a honk honk here and a ttt ttt here and a baa baa here" -- sung to old macdonald had a farm tune! quite hilarious.
Little Mama --
has done number number 2 several times on the potty. Finally number one!
Smiley --
can sit up for quite some time before reaching out to get something and then falling over! Still no teeth! All the others had teeth by now!
How old is your youngest?
ReplyDeleteAudrey
He is 5 months old! I know young for teeth, but Little Mama got her first tooth at 3 months and the boys both were 5 months old! Early teethers.
ReplyDeleteI am not complaining...I like no teeth.
Letisha
"I like no teeth" -- That did not sound right!

ROTFLMBO!!! I tink my kiddos are aound 10 months when they start getting their first teeth in. Yes, nursing with no teeth is alot nicer!

Laura,
ReplyDeletewell, I have been putting her on the toilet just to sit and try it out off and on for about a month! She is really good at telling me when has one number 2 and will do the rest on the toilet. One day she finally did number one. Can usually get number 2 better -- totally different from the boys! Learned number one way before number two on toilet!
They say girls are easy -- we shall see. I do not totally push it. The boys I really started at 27 months so we are few months ahead with Little Mama!
Letisha -- who only dreams of infant potty training....
Thanks for the info. I just bought a potty chair for Ella but not sure when we'll try it-maybe soon-maybe in a few months? She fusses when she's got a stinky diaper so I'm sure that will come first for us too b-4 #1.
